Lemon Yellow / Ciara Quilty-Harper

Lemon Yellow is a book of over 70 hand-drawn illustrations and a trio of narratives on empathy and subjective responses to colour. Led through different houses, we follow disagreements between two people on their perceptions of a specific colour. Is ‘The Dress’ blue and black or white and gold?

Ciara Quilty-Harper is an English-Irish illustrator living in Barcelona. Her soft, blurry drawings are attentive and cinematic observations of daily life.
